Rehabilitated is just a word. A politician"s word so that young fellas like yourself would wear a suit and tie and have a job. What do you really want to know? Am I sorry for what I did? There"s not a day that goes by that I feel regret. Not because I"m in here, but because you think I should. I look back at the way I was then. A young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I wanna talk to him. I wanna try to talk some sense into him, tell him the way things are, but I can"t. That kid is long gone. And this old man is all there"s left. I gotta live with that. Rehabilitated is just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don"t give a shit. Arguably those are the best words ever in this scene. Oh who am I kidding, the whole damn movie is the best.

The music is so amazing. I had your momma! She werent that great XD. One of my all time favorites. Shawshank Redemption is a very moving story about hope and the power of friendship. The cast is first rate with everyone giving a great performance. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman carry the movie, but Bob Gunton and Clancy Brown are perfect as the Warden Norton and prison guard captain Hadley respectively. And James Whitmore"s portrail of an elderly inmate Brooks is moving. The screenplay gives almost every actor at least one or more memorable lines through out the film. As well as a very surprising "twist" near the end that almost knocked me out of my chair. If you have not seen this movie rent it or better yet buy it. As I bet you"ll want to see this one more than once.

I"ve watched more than 5 or 6 times I guess and whenever it appears on any TV channel. The characters, everything about them, height, weight, age and even the race or education was set properly and perfect. I"d always get the imagination that I"m watching some footage taken on real time and during the daily life of the people live in a prison. They were so real and the theme was not a fictitious one and may anytime happen to any of us anywhere and we shall fing ourselves in a situation like in this film. The part about himself, the sentence he said about being a crook was wonderful and explained all what about thw film is. This is all what I can say about the film. I already saw this movie. Of the 7 nominations received he was not any. Competing against two giants like Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction and still no one branded a loser. For all that we have seen swarming around the top of the greatest films ever made.
Best unblinking view to not miss a single scene.
In summary, a masterpiece like the crown of a pine. A film that, while not teach you anything new, makes you love movies like few others. A photograph very wise, excellent assembly and a colossal adaptation.
